Head honcho at Manchester’s ‘El Diablo’s Social Club’ since 2003 and label boss at ‘To Rack & Ruin’ edit imprint & ‘El Diablo’s Social Club Recordings’ Neil is a busy man! Add to that a busy DJ schedule taking him around the world with his signature blend of leftfield Disco, House, Techno, Balearic and everything in between has earned him an unshakable reputation with those in the know as a crowd-loving crate-digger who never fails to set it off.
In 2003 Neil started running the infamous ‘El Diablo’s Social Club’ parties in and around Manchester where he has plied his trade alongside some of the scene’s most-respected players including Todd Terje, Prins Thomas, Chez Damier, Metro Area, Craig Richards, Justin Vandervolgen, Greg Wilson, Maurice Fulton. The list goes on…
Over the last 12 months Neil has played has played many parties around the world including – Tokyo / Jakarta / Bali / Milan / Berlin / Zurich / New York / Amsterdam / Ibiza as well as Festivals such as Glastonbury / Love International / Gottwood / Festival No. 6 and more. Neil also runs record labels ‘To Rack & Ruin’ & ‘El Diablo’s Social Club Recordings’. Both have released a solid output of Disco, House and Balearic tracks on limited vinyl. Fans of the output include DJ Harvey, Gerd Janson, Crazy P, Craig Richards, Chez Damier, Horsemeat Disco and Greg Wilson to name a few.
Neil’s own edits, productions and remixes have found a home at revered labels like Boogiefuturo, Futureboogie, Southern Fried, KAT Records, Nu Northern Soul, It It Balearic?, ISM, Silhouette Music, Paper recordings and Boogie Café as well as his own To Rack & Ruin & EDSC Recordings imprints.
More recently Neil has released on the vinyl only imprint Rothmans. The Bobby Moore EP features remixes from Tiago, Coyote and Dawn Again. He has also been working on a new collaboration project with Ron Basejam (James Baron from Crazy P). In May 2015 they released their first EP on legendary Bristol house label, Futureboogie Recordings to great acclaim. A follow up EP is due on Futureboogie early 2018.
