Fat Buddha Yoga: Release Workshop

This class is for 9-5-ers, the footballers, marathon runners, and the all round stress-meisters. The aim of ‘Release’ is exactly that! Opening with some gentle meditation and breathe work, you will begin to wind down, clear your mind and get in the zone. A warming sequence will begin to open the major areas we hold tension - and put a lot of focus on creating some space in the hips, hamstrings and shoulders. You’ll wake up your core, remember to sit/ stand up straight, moving to fluid and dynamic sequences as well as working on a peak-pose… or two (releasing the inner bad-ass) and leaving with a ton of bliss.

Jessica Skye

After working in PR, advertising and music Jessica decided to combine her passions by creating Fat Buddha Yoga in 2013. Feeling a need to mix up her yoga routine and believing in the huge health benefits of practicing yoga. She wanted to create yoga sessions that people could afford to do regularly in unique venues and make the classes different to what else was out there. Her teaching style is very fluid, creative and dynamic, always switching things up to keep it inte-resting and adapting each session to meet every level and ability. She loves music and yoga and loves being able to share this with her students and clients at her classes, and large scale events working with brands such as Nike, Google and Coca Cola. A yoga guide by day she is an international DJ by night; having played around The Globe and supporting artists such as Tensnake, Joey Negro and Nightmares on Wax to name a few for brands ranging from Nike to Vogue and locations ranging from Creamfields to The Royal Albert Hall.
